Well, I just need to do some venting to anyone because none of my friends are on AIM now. Last weekend was the rowing state championships, and my boat placed first in the finals, which means we ARE the fastest boat in the entire state. We were freaking out and being all happy, but then like 2 hours after the race was over the judges ruled that the water conditions were too rough for a race to be counted and canceled the results of my race. EVENTHOUGH I rowed in the super rough water and beat all the other boats and came in FIRST. So I lost my first place medal, the trophy, my title as state champion, and my invite to Nationals. My coach says he might be able to get us into Nationals, but there's nothing he can do about my "unofficial" first place. This is the stupidest thing I've even seen, you can't just say a race doesn't count after it happens! Cause there's already a winner, loser, and everyone inbetween!! WHAT THE HELL?!?! Sorry for the rant, but I just needed to vent somewhere.
